Tuesday February 13 at approximately 1630 hrs units were alerted to respond for the reported house fire on Waxpool Road. Engine 23 marked on scene to find an abandoned 1 ½ story single family dwelling with smoke showing. The crews from 23 and 6 stretched two lines into the house while the truck and rescue engine 6 started to search and open up. Crews had the fire under control within a few minutes. Units remained on scene for approximately 3 hours for mop up.
