1st Due House Fire

23 minutes into shift change, box 0616 was filled for the house on fire. Callers advised they heard an explosion and saw fire. Engine and Truck 6 arrived to find smoke showing from the front and rear of the home. Engine 6 stretched on the dwelling while the truck conducted searches and threw ladders. The fire was knocked quickly and all searches proved negative. The homeowner sustained burns and was transported by Aircare to the burn center. Units remained out for roughly 1.5 hours
