Have you ever wondered what it is like to see Ashburn from above? What the view is like? Now is your chance. AVFRD is offering 2 of our lucky neighbors a unique opportunity to get a bird’ eye view of Ashburn from the top of AVFRD ladder — no climbing required! The winners of 2 drawings will be lifted up in the bucket~ accompanied by a AVFRD firefighter~ and get a minute to view Ashburn the way very few people ever have. Tickets for the drawings will be sold at AVFRD Pancake Breakfasts in March~ April~ and May. The winner will be lifted during our Spring Open House on Sunday~ May 17th. The drawing from those tickets sold at Pancake Breakfasts will be drawn on May 11 and the winner will be notified. Additional tickets will be sold only at the Open House. A winner from these tickets will be drawn at 3 PM at the Open House. Must be 18 years old or older.
