Fatal Accident at Loudoun County Pkwy and Gloucester Blvd

Shortly after 1:00am on November 25th, Ashburn and Sterling units were alerted for an auto accident with injuries and person ejected.   One involved vehicle had four passengers with injuries —adults age 26 and 27 and children age 3 and 5— ranging from minor to serious and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. A fifth passenger, a woman, was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital, where she died later Friday morning. The 3-year-old was not in a child safety seat and was ejected from the vehicle in the crash. The driver of the second vehicle was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.  Virgina State Police continue to investigate the accident.
