The Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department (AVFRD) is excited to announce our annual “Santa Ride” through the neighborhoods of Lansdowne (12/5) and Ashburn (12/6)! With the help of our off-duty firefighter “elves,” Santa will be making his way through town on a festively decorated fire truck “sleigh,” spreading holiday cheer.

This year’s Santa Ride will take place over multiple nights, starting at 6:00 PM on Friday, December 5th, from Station 22 in Lansdowne, and at 5:00 PM on Saturday, December 6th, from Station 6 in Ashburn.  Please note that the schedule is subject to weather conditions. If weather conditions force a cancellation, we will try to reschedule.

Final decisions regarding cancellations or changes will be made one hour before the run and posted on AVFRD’s social media pages to help families plan accordingly. We look forward to sharing the holiday spirit and hope to see you there!
