Board of Directors
The Board of Directors provides strategic leadership and governance for the Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. Board members are responsible for setting policy, overseeing the organization’s financial and operational health, and guiding major decisions that affect how AVFRD serves the community. Working in partnership with the Officers and staff, the Board helps ensure the department remains accountable, sustainable, and focused on its public safety mission. Board members are elected by the membership each year at the December Company Meeting.
