SUMMARY:Santa Claus & AVFRD are Coming to Lansdowne!
DESCRIPTION:The Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department (AVFRD) is excited to announce our annual “Santa Ride” through the neighborhoods of Lansdowne (12/6) and Ashburn (12/7)! With the help of our off-duty firefighter “elves\,” Santa will be making his way through town on a festively decorated fire truck “sleigh\,” spreading holiday cheer. \nThis year’s Santa Ride will occur over multiple nights\, starting at 6:00 PM on Friday\, Dec. 6th\, from Station 22 in Lansdowne and at 5:00 PM on Saturday\, Dec. 7th\, from Station 6 in Ashburn.  Please keep in mind that the schedule is weather-dependent. If weather conditions force a cancellation\, we will try to reschedule. \nFinal decisions regarding cancellations or changes will be made one hour before the run and posted on AVFRD’s social media pages to help families plan accordingly.
