DESCRIPTION:The Ashburn Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department invites you to our Fall Open House.  A day for families\, neighbors\, and friends to come together\, meet their local first responders\, and learn more about fire and life safety. \nEach year\, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) sets a fire safety theme to raise awareness nationwide. This year’s theme is “Lithium Battery Safety”. With so many devices in our homes powered by lithium batteries\, from phones and laptops to scooters and e-bikes\,  it’s essential to know how to charge\, store\, and use them safely. \nEvent Highlights\n\n\nLithium Battery Safety Information \n\n\nTours of the fire station\, engines\, and ambulances \n\n\nMeet & greet with Ashburn’s firefighters and EMTs \n\n\nCPR Instruction \n\n\nEquipment Demos \n\nSafety information booths and take-home resources\n\nClick here for more information.  We look forward to seeing you there!
