Utility Vehicles
Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department’s Utility vehicles serve multiple functions for the department.  Units operate from Ashburn’s Station 6 .

Utility 606 is this 2020 Dodge Ram 2500. Utility 606 is used as a snowplow / salt spreader, and for various purposes at the station.

ATV 606 is a specially crafted John Deere Gator stationed at Station 6, conveniently located near the W&OD Trail. This unit is equipped with BLS medical gear, 2 water containers, and a stokes basket/backboard for patient handling and transport. With a capacity to accommodate 4 crew members and 1 patient, ATV 606 is ready for efficient response and assistance.

AVFRD Chaplains may respond in department-issued vehicles. Â Chaplains respond to calls at all hours of the day and night to support patients, families and our crew members in their times of need.
