Important Junior Member (ages 16 or 17) Information!
Thank you for your interest in the Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department’s 2027 Junior Member Program.
Junior candidates may be considered for membership at any time throughout the year if they reside in Loudoun County and meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Are currently enrolled in the EMT Program at the Academies of Loudoun;
- Currently hold a valid EMT certification; or
- Qualify as a Legacy candidate, defined as an applicant whose parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, or legal guardian is an active member, life member, deceased member, or former member who left the Department in good standing.
