EMS APPARATUS

Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) vehicles are used by our EMTs and Paramedics to respond to medical calls, as well as other incidents where an ambulance or medic unit are required.  Units operate from Ashburn’s Station 6 and Landsdowne Public Safety Station 22.

Ambulance 606

  • 2016 Dodge Ram 4500 4×4 with Osage-built ambulance body
  • Typically in service as Medic 606, staffed by LCFR Career paramedics

Ambulance 606B

  • 2016 Dodge Ram 4500 4×4 with Osage-built ambulance body
  • Typically in service as a Basic Life Support Unit, staffed by AVFRD Volunteers

Ambulance 606C

  • 2016 Dodge Ram 4500 4×4 with Osage-built ambulance body
  • Typically in service as a Basic Life Support Unit, staffed by AVFRD Volunteers

Ambulance 622

  • 2016 Dodge Ram 4500 4×4 with Osage-built ambulance body
  • Unit is staffed by LCFR Paramedics and AVFRD EMS personnel (paramedic, EMT-I, EMT) depending on time of day.

ALS 606

ALS 606 is a medic chase vehicle that allows our paramedics to quickly respond to medical calls independent of an ambulance for rapid response.
