Monday May 27th at 21:42 hours, Engine and Ambulance Company 22 were dispatched for an motor vehicle accident with rollover in the area of Route 7 and Lexington Drive. Chief 611 was in the area and added onto the run, arriving on scene to find a multi vehicle accident with one requiring extrication. Chief 611 upgraded the assignment adding Truck 606 and Squad 15 to the run. Due to the location of the incident Truck 606 was already on the road arriving just a couple minutes after the initial upgrade. Members from Truck 606 quickly stabilized the vehicle using the forward winch in conjunction with the Rescue 42s. Then begin making patient access by popping the drivers side door, tearing the B post back and removing the roof with the assistance of members from Tower 11. Crews worked together to have the patient extricated in under 15 minutes where he was then flown to a local trauma unit.
