Celebrate Women’s History Month at House 6 Brewing Co. with the release of the “Anne Marie” Irish Red Ale in honor of the first woman to be a firefighter at Ashburn Volunteer Fire Rescue Department (AVFRD).  100% of the proceeds of this beer will go AVFRD.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 13, 2021 from Noon-10pm at House 6 Brewing Co. located at 44427 Atwater Dr suite 160, Ashburn, VA 20147.

The Irish Red Ale is known for it’s unique malty taste and for being on the lower side of bitterness and alcohol content. For the March (National Women’s History Month) installment of House 6 Small Batch Series, we want to honor and acknowledge one of the amazing women that served Ashburn as Firefighter.

Anne Marie Mason joined AVFRD in 1989 making her the first female firefighter in department history. In her 18 years with the department, she served as the president for 4 years, and vice-president for 4 years. Anne Marie has paved the way for many other women within AVFRD and for that we raise our glass of “Anne Marie” Irish Red Ale!
