The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, Leesburg Police Department , and the Purcellville Police Department have once again partnered with the Drug Enforcement Administration – DEA in the “Take-Back” initiative that seeks to prevent increased pill abuse and theft. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
Loudoun County residents can discard potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs for destruction on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at six sites in the county.
For anyone in Loudoun County with unused or expired medications, participating in this event can make a positive impact by reducing the risk of accidental poisonings, drug abuse, and environmental contamination.
