This morning, Ashburn Volunteer Fire Rescue Department – AVFRD volunteers had a valuable training experience during a stabilization and extrication drill at Station 6, led by AVFRD Training Officer Captain David Holtz. The drill involved a simulated vehicle accident, requiring the volunteers to stabilize the vehicles involved and provide rescue and aid to three simulated victims. We extend our sincere appreciation to Loudoun County Fire and Rescue members Lt. Schwarzenegger and firefighters Anderson and Smith for their participation and guidance, which enhanced the learning and preparedness of our volunteers. Such collaborative efforts contribute to our commitment to serving the community with professionalism and expertise.
